WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO WEALTH?: on his home planet, "adam" was considered an emissary of sorts, regarded highly enough (along with a few others) to be entrusted with the future of his people. where he comes from, seniority is respected more than material wealth, though he would probably be considered upper-middle class by earth standards, if not right on the cusp of upper class.
on earth, adam is just a regular man - or so he presents himself that way, at least. he lives alone, in places people wouldn't immediately think to look for anyone, and cares very little about social classes, etc. he's not rich by any means, but he's not in a bad spot, either. to him, none of it matters anyway.
