a very long time ago, or perhaps not very long ago at all, "adam's" sun began to die. his people, fearing the end of their planet, their world, deployed a handful of small, single-occupant pod-ships, each with an emissary inside, out into the universe through time and space to find new land, so that their people would not die out.
"adam" found earth - but not as we know it today. the earth he found was, for the most part, unoccupied. animals, and insects, lots of lush terrain - and far too "clean" for the survival of his kind, accustomed to a heavier, toxic atmosphere. and so he got to work, holed up in his small ship with what little he brought with him and the technology from his own world, and with a prophecy of a thriving future, he created... man.
a specimen that would do the work for him. a species that would build and develop and advance, and in turn, by their own hubris, destroy themselves and their entire planet, leaving behind nothing but ash and rot and ruin. leaving behind the perfect place to call his people home.
all he has to do is sit back, and wait.
